NATO-Intel Planning Inauguration Day Riot?
Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 US Presidential Election was seen as a great victory for those who hope the war in Ukraine can be ended. The fact that Trump’s team is already discussing how to resume talks on the Korean Peninsula is also inspiring. One group is pretty obviously NOT thrilled that Trump won, and that is the US ‘deep state’ foreign policy establishment and the intelligence apparatus of various NATO countries.
Many will recall how, in 2017, when Trump was inaugurated for the first time, the streets of DC rocked with chaos as various anarchist and communist groups joined with crowds of liberals to break windows and vandalize cars. Caleb Maupin, founder of the Center for Political Innovation, is now raising the alarm about what he sees as a foreign intelligence operation against the incoming President.
“Two communist organizations, the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP) and the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), are pretty clearly assets of NATO intelligence agencies,” Maupin explained. The Party for Socialism and Liberation had its fringe presidential campaign promoted by the UK’s Guardian newspaper. The Guardian, a Labour Party-aligned mainstream “newspaper of record” based in Manchester, is obviously a voice for the British elite and foreign policy establishment. Glenn Greenwald exposed how The Guardian published false claims to smear Julian Assange. The publication was also key in pushing the “Russia-gate” narrative during Trump’s first term.
Assets or ‘Useful Idiots’ for NATO
“Yet, this pro-war, pro-deep state newspaper, basically a mouthpiece for Keir Starmer, decided to run a positive article—basically a campaign advertisement—for some small communist group in the United States? Totally random, huh? Not buying it. If you listen to PSL and how they push anti-Trump hysteria and woke-ness while labeling serious anti-establishment voices as ‘fascist,’ it’s pretty obvious why the British mainstream press promotes them. They are assets of MI6,” Caleb explained. PSL’s leader, Brian Becker, once worked for Russia-funded Sputnik Radio in Washington, DC, but had a nasty falling out with management. Ever since then, his organization has been in a pro-NATO frenzy, condemning Putin for criticizing Lenin, supporting the CIA-backed Russian “peace movement” of Navalny supporters, while officially claiming to be “neutral” in Ukraine. One of Becker’s closest associates is noted Obama supporter and friend, former Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers. In a previously published article, the Center for Political Innovation exposed how PSL’s 2024 presidential campaign was not about “socialism,” but rather about promoting British de-growth Malthusian economics, calling for the dismantling of the US power grid.
The ties of the Revolutionary Communist Party to French intelligence have been documented for a while. Maupin first made them public in his book Letter to Bob Avakian. In 1979, the RCP group cut ties with China, claiming that Deng Xiaoping had betrayed Communism. The group then engaged in a provocative rally at the White House and even penetrated White House grounds to harass Deng Xiaoping when he was hosted by Jimmy Carter. In response to criminal charges, the group’s leader, Bob Avakian, fled to France and directed the group from there for several decades. While being directed from France by Avakian, who remained in the country despite being denied official status as a political exile, the organization worked to achieve French intelligence goals. The RCP was key in promoting the case of Mumia Abu-Jamal, who was later named an honorary citizen of Paris with a street named for him. During the Bush years, the RCP took its lead from Jacques Chirac, opposing the Iraq War and advertising the political screeds of playwright Harold Pinter, who was eventually inducted into the French state’s Légion d’honneur.
British and French intelligence oppose Trump for the same reason Dick Cheney and John Bolton do, Maupin explained: “They see him as a threat to NATO. They want to continue the war in Ukraine to weaken Russia. These US Communists may still think they are anti-NATO, but the fact that they are planning a provocative demonstration against Trump’s inauguration shows they are useful idiots at best. They are pawns of the pro-NATO elite that is afraid Trump means what he says about putting America first and will cut off the flow of weapons to Kiev.”
Blood in the Streets?
It’s not a surprise that the pro-NATO faction is trying to move against Trump, Maupin notes: “That guy Ryan Routh, a leftist Ukrainiac, tried to kill Trump this summer. Why wouldn’t the pro-NATO, Ukraine First faction want blood in the streets on the first day of Trump’s second term?” PSL and RCP, among other organizations, are planning to lead the “People’s March” protests when Trump takes the oath of office on January 20th, 2025. Organizers say the protests will be peaceful, but Maupin urges observers to recall what happened back in 2017.
“Donald Trump represents a layer of the US military and intelligence agencies that are more concerned about the domestic economy than the interests of the global imperialist system,” Caleb explained. “There are many conflicting agendas in the Trump camp, no doubt. But because Trump isn’t a loyal Atlanticist, the NATO intelligence services are moving against him, using woke ‘socialists’ as their pawns. This is obvious.”
“These socialists and communists don’t really want peace, and they don’t really oppose globalist imperialism,” Caleb explained. “They are grifting to bring in money from George Soros, and they are virtue signaling to social media about how performatively feminist and anti-racist they can be. I hope they are being honest when they say these protests will be peaceful, but I don’t trust them at all.”
Caleb Maupin noted that the Center for Political Innovation will also be present in DC on inauguration day—not to protest Trump but to support him and his pick for Intelligence Director, Tulsi Gabbard. CPI will be working to promote the Peace Bridge connecting Alaska to Russia over the Bering Sea and will bring along its #PeaceMAGA banner that was featured in New Yorker Magazine.
