Can one be both a Christian and a socialist? Are Marxism and Christianity compatible? This small, hand-held volume was assembled by the Center for Political Innovation in order to contribute to a very widespread conversation, happening all across the world, including the United States. In this short book, a compilation of verses from the Bible, quotations from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and selections from American socialist writers are used to make the case that Christianity and Socialism are fully compatible. An introduction by Keaten Mansfield and a conclusion from Caleb Maupin give context to the current dialogue taking place around the world reexamining the relationship between Marxism and religion. The book also contains the text of a speech from Christian Socialist President Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua.

Jesus is a Socialist

A group of liberal commentators with shady origins, loosely calling themselves &#8220;BreadTube&#8221; have become the primary online pro-socialist voices. The ideology that BreadTubers espouse, however, is not consistent with Marxism-Leninism or genuine anti-capitalism. Drawing from the work of Marx, Lenin, Mao Zedong, William Z. Foster, R. Palm Dutt, Peter Kropotkin and other great revolutionary thinkers, Caleb Maupin shows that BreadTube has emerged due to a power struggle within the US ruling class. Maupin contrasts the BreadTube worldview of pessimism, anti-populism and post-modernism with the hopeful project of 21st Century Socialism around the world. He urges working people to reject the dead end of identity politics, liberalism and de-growth, and instead to stand against decaying imperialism and its drive toward fascism and war.

Caleb Maupin examines the life of Kamala Harris, and puts her rise to prominence in the context of changing US political discourse and the geopolitical stage. The book draws heavily from Marxism-Leninism, as well as psychology and economics, examining the roots of the crisis in the United States, as well as factors that contributed to Kamala Harris&#8217; career.

Caleb discusses the role of the U.S. government and Joe Biden in sowing instability in Afghanistan, which is <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2021/12/04/world/asia/afghanistan-starvation-crisis.html">gripped in starvation</a> today primarily due to the theft of Afghani taxpayer funds by the United States.
