CPI Letter to Trump Shakes Up Conversation, More to Come!
The video/letter to Donald Trump entitled “America Chose You To Bring Peace” that the Center for Political Innovation (CPI) released on November 22nd has certainly grabbed the attention of a diverse crowd. The high-quality graphics and editing by Peter Coffin, along with the powerful music, amplified a message that resonates with widespread support from Americans of various views, backgrounds, and perspectives.
The letter was first shared on Twitter by anti-imperialists, including British Member of Parliament and talk show host George Galloway, former UN Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter, geopolitical analyst and journalist Fiorella Isabel, longtime radio personality and host Kim Iversen, former U.S. Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, and “Syrian Girl” Miriam Susli of Australia, among others.
However, beyond that circle, a number of conservatives, Libertarians, and Republicans also shared the video. Kandiss Taylor, a prominent leader of the Republican Party and MAGA movement in Georgia, was among the first to tweet the video. Longtime anti-establishment conservative Lee Stranahan, Rev. Miilhan Stephens of the Manhattan Family Church, and Thomas Paine biographer and Libertarian Dave Benner also shared it.
A number of academics and independent left-wing voices highlighted the video as well. Douglas Lain, founder of Zero Books, UK columnist Ashley Frawley, folk singer David Rovics, Green Party Senate candidate Christina Khalil, Kentucky Party co-founder Geoff Young, and New York City radio host Don Debar were among those who tweeted the video, bringing it to the attention of their followers.
The Twitter video alone has been viewed over 75,000 times, with thousands more watching it on YouTube, TikTok, or reading the text on the CPI website.
Many viewers were moved to tears when seeing the video for the first time, touched by its simple yet powerful language that gave voice to widely held sentiments among the American people. Comments included:
“This message is exactly what ALL of the people, in the U.S. in particular, NEED to see NOW! Very well done!”
“Congratulations CPI on a stunning appeal to our next President Donald Trump.”
CPI is far from finished promoting the letter. Plans are underway to purchase a full-page ad featuring the letter in a widely read Washington, D.C., newspaper in January. Members have shared the letter with relatives and family members, while others have encouraged their professors to show it in class to spark discussion.
CPI is asking everyone who has read or watched the video/letter and enjoyed it to spread it far and wide.
“Send it to your relatives! Send it to your classmates, coworkers, neighbors, and friends! This message to Trump says what millions of Americans know is the truth and explains why he won, and what the working families of this country really need from him.”
