With US midterm elections quickly approaching, many are finding themselves disillusioned with the usual choice between Democrat or Republican – red team or blue team. The US economy is in sharp decline and the once-common hopeful optimism for the future – gone with it. Many people are critically assessing the situation, particularly the African American community, which has been hit especially hard by the current crisis. Recently, The Final Call Newspaper published an article assessing the political climate surrounding the midterms from the perspective of the Black community. CPI founder and lead analyst Caleb Maupin was quoted as a source on the dismal state of Democratic party politics.
